Hey! I’m a junior at Kaufman High School and I am 16 years old. This is my first year to be on the KHS Newspaper staff. I am a member of the National Honor Society, Spanish Club, Student Council and the golf team. I am also a member of the yearbook staff. I am very excited to be on the newspaper staff and I can’t wait to see how it turns out!

Makenzi Davis

Hi! I am a junior at Kaufman High School. I am 16 years old. This is my first year to participate in the Kaufman High School Newspaper, and I am very excited. I have played volleyball all three years of high school. I also play in Mesquite on a club team called Mesquite Elite. I am currently in the National Honor Society, student council, and the Spanish club. I am very excited to see how the newspaper turns out! Its going to be a great year!

Megan Frierson

I'm a senior at Kaufman High School and this is my first year being a part of the Lions Pride KHS Newspaper staff. I am a four year member of the Kaufman Lion Roaring Band, in which I play the clarinet during "off-season". I am a co-captain of the color-gaurd, a three year member of Lionettes, and a part of our pep-rally team. I'm going to apply to TJC this spring, as well as try-out for the Apache Belles, their drill team. After Jr. college I'm not sure where I want to go, but I know college won't stop there!

HI THERE!!!! I’m a 17yr old that loves to live life to the fullest. I’m a junior at Kaufman High School. I have two older brothers and love them to death. I have been in Kaufman all my life. It’s my 1st year being a member in the KHS newspaper. Also I’m a member of the Spanish club. My favorite color is royal blue and favorite number is 21. Im a really outgoing person and can be very LOUD!

Ferrell Mason

I am currently 16 and a junior at Kaufman High School. I drive a red mini cooper with white racing stripes. My best friend is Amanda Nicole Smith. My middle name is Michaux, pronounced Mi-Show. Yes, its French, but i am German, despite the color of my hair. I am a member of the National Honor Society, Student Council, Yearbook and Spanish Club. I have and will be taking TVCC classes during the summer, and I plan on attending the University of Texas in Austin, hopefully they will accept me. Wow, I feel like I'm writing an about me on myspace.

Michael Mayhew

My name is Michael Mayhew and I like to be active most of the time. When I am not in school or busy working I love to ride my dirt bike and playing basketball. I have two sisters and I live with my grandparents. I have a dog named Angel. I really enjoy spending time with my friends. I hope to have a fun and successful year in newspaper this year.

Ayron Miles

I’m senior at Kaufman High School. I play basketball football and run track. Two years straight I have been all first team in basketball and made it to the playoffs every year in every sport I play. I have been on varsity since tenth grade. I have a cousin in the NBA name CJ Miles.

Hello. I am a junior at Kaufman High School. I am sixteen years old. My birthday is on November 15, 1991. This is my first year to be on the KHS Newspaper Staff. I am also a member of the National honor Society, The Spanish Club, Student Council, and I am also in Yearbook. I play Varsity volleyball and Varsity Golf. I am number 8 in my class. My favorite color is baby blue. I absolutely love dogs. I have interests in journalism and also broadcasting. I can’t wait to be apart of the KHS newspaper.

I’m a junior at Kaufman High School and it’s my first year to be apart of the Lion Pride KHS Newspaper staff. It’s my third year to be apart of the varsity volleyball team my first year i was named defensive player of the year and the second i got offensive.I asked to be in newspaper because it would be a different class that I haven’t experienced before.

Hey You!! My name is Christian Serrano and the main thing about me is that I love music..i love working with music. On my free time I also like to play basketball and football but I love watching the Texas Rangers baseball. I also like hanging out with my friends and just having a good time with them. I am a junior a KHS and really excited to get this year over with and be a senior.

Hi my name is Anjanette. I am a junior at Kaufman High School. I am currently 16 years old. This is my first year being a member for the KHS newspaper. My favorite color is neon green. I am junior class vice president. I can’t wait to graduate. After I graduate I plan to attend UNT to major in journalism. After I graduate from college my dream that I would like to accomplish is to move to New York to work for either Seventeen or Cosmogirl magazine. If not I plan to move to Los Angeles to work for any fashion magazine. Well anyways I’m too tired to write this stuff….bye!

I’m a junior at Kaufman High School and I can’t wait to graduate. My best friend is Ferrell Mason and has been since 5th grade. I’m not really a part of that many activities like the sophisticated people in my class…I guess you could say I have more fun outside of school.

I’m a senior at Kaufman High School. I play basketball. I’ve been on varsity since my sophomore year and I love Mrs. Hetmer,Carter, and Montez. I am in newspaper because my blood brother Dominique is in this class.

In addition to being on the newspaper and yearbook staffs, I am also a member of the Varsity Tennis Team, NHS, Student Council, UIL, Spanish Club and Interact Club. I also serve as the primary photographer for most KHS events.
